What do we do?

Science Olympiad (affectionately known as SciOly) is a nationwide team science competition that challenges middle and high school students in many different STEM disciplines. Across hundreds of tournaments from the regional to the national level, many aspiring candidates get the opportunity to show off their passion for science and engineering in ways that ultimately benefit their education and careers. We are a group of students Stanford University dedicated towards supporting a division of SciOly and providing a continued community for those passionate about the activity.

Coaching

We create new Science Olympiad teams at local schools in the Bay Area and prepare them for a fulfilling competition. We work with each school for 2-3 years to develop fundamental skills among the students and teachers until they become self-sustaining!

Tournament

We hold a tournament each year inviting teams to compete on Stanford Campus. Geared towards newer teams, this competition serves to create further practice and engagement opportunities for students both local to the Bay Area and elsewhere!

Our organization is home to many knowledgeable alumni of the Science Olympiad community. Occasionally we'll draw upon this experience to release information geared towards teams just starting out in their journey; if this happens, check back here for a button to view our posts!
