The 2026 Stanford Science Olympiad Invitational is happening February 21st, 2026! 

Registration is now live for our 3rd annual Stanford Science Invitational! Please keep in mind that registration is not first come first serve, and teams will be notified of their competition status following the deadline. We look forward to seeing you next February!

"Practice makes perfect."

This year, we will be hosting a Division C Science Olympiad invitational tournament at Stanford University. High school students will be able to come onto Stanford campus to compete against each other across 23 STEM-based competitions. ​Our volunteers will work hard to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible!

Registration Details

  • Registration is not first come first serve; if space is limited after December 1st, we will choose from all teams that signed up during this period.
  • We will give priority registration to schools with less than 3 years of experience.
  • Let us know if your team is interested but the registration fee presents a financial burden (especially if you're a new team) and we may be able to work something out.
  • Important: If you do decide to register, please try your best to attend. Starting this year, teams that drop out after December 1st will have lower priority in future years!

Tournament Details

  • We will be able to offer wet labs this year for our Chemistry Lab and Forensics events! 
  • We will be able to offer Helicopter this year! We are allocating part of a large dance studio; our target room dimensions are 8 m (W) x 8 m (L) x 7.7 m (H).
  • Team base camps will be outdoors due to limited classroom availability.
